Google: "It's finally hit me what is wrong--news organizations like CNN hold panel discussions about what Meryl Streep said at some awards show. White and black women are complaining about identities for the march in Washington. At the same time, our U.S. congress is actually gutting all of the regulations the people have put in place over many decades to temper money interests from continued rape of our environment, access to health care, and basically everything that was established by our government in the interest civilization, not just the corporate interests. These were hard-won polices established in the public interest, not just the corporate agenda. These include items such as knocking the tops of mountains off to get at the coal, then putting all the waste into streams, or re-instating the win-win status health insurers have always enjoyed by not providing coverage to sick or poor people. It goes on and on.
This is real, and is happening this week. But we are now so blinded by this new 'generation gap' that we are not paying attention to those things that effect us now, and will drastically effect our descendants. How to wake up? Help!
